About Carat&Co

Carat & Co is a small antique jewellery business based in Evesham, Worcestershire. We buy from estates, private collections and specialist sales, and we only offer pieces we would be happy to wear ourselves.

Our collection runs from Georgian and Victorian jewellery through the Edwardian and Art Deco years to mid-century pieces: rings, necklaces, earrings, brooches, bracelets and cufflinks, each one made long before it reached us and chosen for its quality, its design and its condition.

How we describe a piece

Before anything goes online we test the metal, check every stone and setting, measure and weigh it, and look for marks. We then photograph it on a plain white background from the front, the side and the back, so the hallmarks and the condition are easy to see. Each listing states what we know: period, metal, stones, measurements, weight and marks. Where something has been repaired or altered, we say so.

Every piece is guaranteed to be as described. UK delivery is free on orders over £150, sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, signed for and insured. If you change your mind you can return it within 14 days for a full refund — see Returns.
